When do the camps run?
We typically run camps at Easter, over the Summer holidays, and during the Halloween midterm break. Dates and details will be posted on our website and social media closer to the time.
Whats ages are the camps suitable for?
Our camps are generally suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years. If your child falls just outside that age range, feel free to contact us – we do our best to be flexible based on needs and group dynamics.
What are the camp hours?
Camp times may vary slightly depending on the season, but typically run from 10am to 1pm, Monday to Thursday. Please check the specific camp leaflet or social media post for exact times.
How do I register my child for the camps?
Registration usually opens a few weeks before each camp. You can register by calling the FRC at 046 9438850, emailing diane@trimfrc.ie, or dropping in during office hours. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a cost to attend camps?
We aim to keep camps low-cost or free, depending on funding availability. A small fee may apply to cover materials and activities.
What kind of activities do the children take part in?
Our camps are fun and varied! Activities include: Arts & Crafts, Games, Outdoor Play (weather permitting), Music & Dance, Occasional guest visitors or mini-workshops.
My child has additional needs - can they attend?
Absolutely! – inclusion is central to our approach. If your child has any specific needs or supports, please contact us ahead of time so we can make suitable arrangements.
