Trim Family Resource Centre Celebrating Twenty Years Serving the Community

Trim Family Resource Centre (FRC) is delighted to celebrate twenty years being part of Trim and South Meath community.
The brainchild of the late Danny O’Brien, the Trim Family Resource Centre was established two decades ago to promote social inclusion in the area and provide family support.  Working initially with young and single parents, supporting families with drug addiction and disability issues, the centre’s work has expanded hugely over the years. From summer camps for local children to supporting those struggling to re-join the workforce; from English conversation classes for new members of our community to running a community garden and Food Bank, Trim FRC has been a beacon of hope for so many families in the Trim and south Meath area. Our activities have changed over time but our mission remains the same – to empower families and the community to understand their own needs and identify solutions to the challenges they face
To celebrate twenty years in the community, we have an exciting week of activities in store from 12th – 17th July, including many fun events for children and adults. See the Birthday schedule for times and dates of events and call us if you have any questions. All events will be held outdoors and are weather dependent so keep your fingers crossed for good weather to continue!!

We are asking members of the public to find out more about what we do, join in the fun for our 20th birthday and also to make a donation if they can. Any support is hugely appreciated.
