Coder Dojo

CoderDojo is a global movement of free, open, volunteer-led coding clubs (Dojos) where young people aged 7–17 (Ninjas) can explore digital technology with the support of their fellow Ninjas and volunteer mentors. CoderDojo’s mission is to give young people around the world the opportunity to learn to code in a social and safe environment.
CoderDojo is an opportunity to get young people interested in coding by helping them create their own projects with code for example games or animation.

Cula Bula

Cula Bula Youth Club is a volunteer led youth club for children aged 6 to 12 who usually meet one hour per week on a Monday evening. Sessions are planned with young people and in the past included art and crafts, baking, games, movie nights, annual trips away. The club is affiliated with Youth Work Ireland and supported by Trim FRC. All volunteers are trained and Garda vetted, and give their hearts and time to ensure the club is inclusive and fun for all of young people in the community. For further information or to register, please contact culabulayouth@gmail.com

Polish Children's Club

The Polish Children’s club is a volunteer led initiative open to all children in the community. The club aims to share the gift of Polish language and culture through fun activities, crafts, games, books and family events. This is a new initiative, and we hope to get the Club registered with Meath Youth Work Ireland soon.

If you are interested in getting involved or finding out more, contact us via info@trimfrc.ie or call 046 9438850.

The more helping hands, the better! Knowledge of Polish language is not required…Instead what is needed from you to get involved is to have some enthusiasm, interest, and spare time each week.

Childrens Camps/Activities

Activities include:

Easter Egg hunts

Tiny Tots Story telling sessions

Pop up Playgrounds

Art and Crafts

Gardening

Baking

Soccer

Creative Mindfulness

Drumming workshops

Halloween Discos

Canoeing (thanks to volunteers from Trim Canoe Club!)

Walk and Talk Trim tours (thanks to a local tour guide Cynthia!)

and more…

Those activities are hugely supported by volunteers, local community groups and businesses. Additional funding is secured by Trim FRC via local councillors, Meath County Council, IYF Applegreen Blossom Fund to ensure that suitable equipment and resources are available.
